In today’s life we never really appreciate Good Service. So when Great service comes along – I feel it needs to be noted and praised. From the time I bought my car from Terence, through all the services, and even to a warranty claim that I have had – Nothing in the many years of motoring has come anywhere close to the awesome service that I have received from Grant and his team. In my latest experience, I was given Grants own car to see me through the period of trouble that had to be rectified. It just goes to show, they give of their own to ensure we the customer comes first. When ever we visit the dealership it is like visiting family. We are looked after – always. We have 3 children all coming to that age where they will be looking for cars soon. There is no other place to take them. There are no other dealers worthy of our business – Not when it comes to service and pride.
Awesome stuff Grant – Your team are worthy team players – You should be proud of them.
I would like to express my appreciation and thanks for the excellent service and assistance I received from Justin Geswind last week.
After phoning numerous Ford parts dealerships, Justin, at your branch was the only person willing to assist in sorting out my problem. He arranged a new crankshaft/harmonic pulley which seemed to be just too much effort for other dealerships. He even gave me the name of another supplier who could possibly assist, this I admire. To many people are either to lazy or selfish to pass business to other parts suppliers. What you sow, so shall you reap (a Biblical truth). Due to the fact that Justin could arrange the part far sooner, although more expensive than the other supplier, I chose to have Justin arrange the part.
Please convey my gratitude and appreciation to Justin for the kind, friendly and professional service that he displayed during his dealings with me in obtaining the necessary part. You can be proud to have such a dedicated person serving on your staff portfolio.
It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with the staff at Mekor Ford/Mazda Claremont branch, from the first time my call was answered until I had the part in my hand.

Coming from the UK where service levels are predictably different, they are in all Countries, I can honestly say Mekor Ford & Mazda Claremont is outstanding. I bought a Mazda CX7 last year and couldn’t be happier, any little issues sorted out so professionally. From the lady at reception to Zack and Clint at the service desk, Grant really has a great team. I would recommend Mekor Claremont to anyone.

I received excellent service when purchasing my Figo and with the servicing of my vehicle. I entered a competition and won an iPad from Mekor. Will only service and purchase from Mekor Ford Mazda. All the staff are so friendly.
I have always received great service- from trading in my old car to getting my new one and then my services. I recommend Claremont Mekor to others as it epitomises great customer service- something out of the ordinary in this day and age. My next car will definitely come from Claremont Mekor!

This is the story of how Ford Mekor in Claremont renewed my faith in people, and the car industry.
Earlier this year I found myself at wits end. I had bought a second hand BMW that had turned out to be more curse than blessing. In 5 months of ownership it had been in the shop for more than 5 weeks after adding it all up.
Staring down the barrel of not being able to afford the repairs on the car, and owing the bank over double what the car was worth left me understanding what drives people to jump off buildings.
I then made the best decision of my life, when I walked into Ford Mekor in Claremont. From the second I stepped into that dealership I was not only treated like a valued customer, they went above and beyond to try and help me out of the situation I found myself in. Before the idea of purchasing a new car was even discussed, they genuinely cared about helping out of the situation I was in and gave me some pretty sound advice.
That specific day my BMW had started to misfire, I lost around 80% power, there was white smoke coming out of the engine with a deafening metal on metal banging noise. Within hours of driving into Ford Mekor, I had my entire situation resolved. They had managed to take care of the BMW, and put me in a brand new 2017 Fiesta Ecoboost whilst still keeping it affordable for me.
A few days later, a complete surprise came. Out of nowhere a touch of pure class from the guys at Ford Mekor. They had managed to diagnose and fix the fault with the BMW, and it hadn’t cost them as much as they thought it would, so they offered to give me the cash back or increase the trade in value on the BMW making the deal even more affordable for me.
I’d like to highlight the time they took, unplanned, to accommodate me and give me as many options as possible. As long as I remain in Cape Town, I will never go anywhere other than Ford Mekor in Claremont. They have earned a life time customer, and I will sing their praises to everyone who’ll listen. In a world filled with snakes, how rare it is to come across such honest and chivalrous people.
I feel it is also important to add, apart from the truly excellent service, the car is fantastic as well. The product is of exceptional quality. If you are not a Ford owner, I highly suggest you go test drive one.
